Kayla Waller is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at Bautis Financial, where she helps individuals and families navigate life’s financial complexities with clarity, confidence, and care. She works closely with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to their goals – from growing wealth and managing risk to preparing for retirement and beyond.
On the Bautis Financial Team, Kayla plays an integral role in the firm’s planning process. She is known for her thoughtful approach, technical proficiency, and genuine passion for empowering clients to make informed financial decisions.
Kayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Tech, where she pursued the CFP® Certification Education option – a rigorous curriculum approved by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. While in school, she held leadership positions in BASIS (Bond and Securities Investing by Students), a student-managed fixed income fund overseeing $5 million of the university’s endowment. She also gained real-world experience through a financial planning internship and was active in both the Financial Planning Association and Finance Club on campus.
Now a CFP® professional – a designation that represents the highest standard in personal financial planning – Kayla continues to grow her expertise and stay ahead of changes in the financial landscape. Her goal is always the same: to provide strategic, personalized guidance that helps clients feel confident about their future.
Kayla lives a short distance from the beach in Virginia with her dog, Helen, and enjoys the coastal lifestyle when she’s not serving clients.
